Experience

Dr. Jorge Vázquez López-Ibor has completed the Specialty of Cardiology at the University Hospital Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda, after completing a degree in Medicine and Surgery at the Complutense University of Madrid. He has taken as a subspecialty the Diagnosis and Treatment of Heart Failure, making a Fellowship of two years in the Advanced Heart Failure and Heart Transplantation Unit of the aforementioned hospital center.  

Likewise, as part of his training and academic updating, he has completed the Theoretical-Practical Master's Degree in Critical and Advanced Heart Failure, taught by the Hospital General Universitario Gregorio Marañón in Madrid, as well as other studies in Cardiovascular Research at the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC), preparation that has allowed him to forge a specialized profile and to work as a Cardiologist at the El Escorial Hospital and the Heart Failure Day Hospital, both in Madrid. In this way, he also combines his healthcare work with teaching, training primary care residents and medical students.

  • Professional Master's Degree in Critical and Advanced Heart Failure (MICCA) at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital, Madrid. 
  • Theoretical-Practical Training in Cardiovascular Research at the National Center for Cardiovascular Research (CNIC). 
  • Fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure, Heart Transplantation and Pulmonary Hypertension at the University Hospital Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda, Madrid.
