Dr. Juan Pujol Ràfols is a specialist in General and Digestive Surgery, Chief of the Surgery Department at the Mi Tres Torres Clinic in Barcelona and Director of the Obesity and Metabolic Surgery Unit at the same clinic since 1996. 

In addition, he is a founding member and member of the Board of Directors of the Spanish Society for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders (SECO) and Spanish representative and member of the Executive Council of the International Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (IFSO).

Thanks to this extensive professional career, which includes not only health care activity, but also research, being author and co-author of multiple publications on Obesity and Obesity Surgery, Dr. Pujol Ràfols has been awarded the World Society for Obesity Surgery Award for his development over more than 30 years of profession in the field of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery.
