Dr. Mónica González Martínez is a Pneumologist specialized in the approach of different pathologies or problems related to sleep. After working at the Sleep Unit of the Hospital de Burgos, she joined the University Hospital Marqués de Valdecilla as co-coordinator of the Multidisciplinary Unit of Sleep Disorders and Ventilation.  

This unit was a pioneer in Spain and is recognized for its excellence. González Martínez has spent a large part of her professional career in this unit and has published numerous scientific articles on apnea syndrome and respiratory diseases associated with difficulties during the sleep process.  

The deep knowledge of this subject by Gonzalez Martinez has made it a speaker par excellence in this field and teaches other professionals specializing in Sleep Medicine.
