Even as a professional basketball player and enjoying experiences in the ACB League in Spain, Dr. Angel Victor Hernandez Martos always knew that his main vocation was medicine, so he left his sporting discipline to specialize in Cardiology, an area that aroused his interest since childhood because of the arrhythmia suffered by his father.

Thus, within the Medical Field, he has been able to work as a Cardiologist at the University Hospital of Salamanca; in addition, his interest in the more academic branch of his profession has led him to be co-author of the article Spontaneous hemorrhage of uncertain origin.
