Jaime Eduardo Pérez Gutiérrez has specialized in Intensive Care Medicine and, in particular, he delves into antibiotherapy, multiresistance of bacteria to state-of-the-art pharmacological products and alternative treatments. During the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic, he dealt with numerous critical cases and expanded his training in the use of mechanical ventilation.  

His healthcare work has been related to first level centers such as the Hospital Clínico Universitario de Valladolid and the Hospital 12 de Octubre in Madrid. He is also a member of several national and local scientific societies.
