With an excellent mastery of Neuropediatrics, Dr. Jesús Eirís Puñal is a Pediatrician of wide trajectory and recognition. Over more than three decades of professional career, he has developed multiple care competencies for the management of children and adolescents with manifestations of Autism Spectrum Disorder.  

At the same time, he has provided the best care for children with Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder, learning difficulties, intellectual disabilities and speech delay. Most of this medical work has been linked to the Pediatric Neurology Unit of the Clinical University Hospital of Santiago in Compostela.  

In addition, he has maintained a solid line of research on the side effects of antiepileptic drugs in the pediatric age and on the study of the physiopathology of syncope using the tilt table test. His results and considerations have been presented in a large number of congresses and scientific communications, as well as in articles for specialized journals.
