Dr. Luis Gómez Salinas has more than 25 years of experience as a Medical Specialist in Anesthesiology and Resuscitation, in which he has held important positions within the Spanish health system. Among them, the most recent position as Chief of Anesthesiology at the Hospital General Universitario de Alicante, where he has been in the news during the COVID-19 pandemic for being in the front line of the fight, treating the most critical patients due to his specialty. 

Along with his healthcare activity, he is constantly updating his academic knowledge in order to offer his students the most advanced techniques in the different programs he teaches.

Due to his recognized prestige in the specialty, he has been a speaker at multiple congresses and medical events, speaking on topics such as anesthesia recommendations, pain management techniques, the use of helical computed tomography compared to other imaging methods and the perioperative management of a transplant patient.
