Dr. Susana Duch Tuesta is one of the most prestigious ophthalmologists in the field of the study and Glaucoma treatment. With more than 20 years of experience in this pathology, the direction of the Glaucoma Unit of the Condal Institute of Ophthalmology led her to be a pioneer in Spain, introducing the valves implantation. At the same time, she manages the Ocular Traumatology Unit of this center.  

The latest techniques and methodologies used in the approach to this pathology are the core of her scientific research, being the author of books such as El tratamiento del glaucoma refractario con los distintos implantes del drenaje (The treatment of refractory glaucoma with different drainage implants).
