Dr. Javier Miguelena Hycka has contributed throughout his professional career to more than 50 articles and scientific publications, especially in the field of COVID-19 and cardiogenic shock, myocardial perforation or antithrombotic treatment in cardiovascular surgery, among others. 

He balances his clinical activity at the Ramón y Cajal Hospital, where he is a specialist in the area of Adult Cardiac Surgery, with university teaching, participating in degrees in Cardiovascular Emergencies, Pacemakers, Resynchronizers and Cardiac Defibrillation
