Laura Macías Álvarez, PhD in Biology, decided to devote her career as a researcher to the world of Biomedicine. Her desire to progress in this area and her extensive study skills have allowed her to work in entities such as the Institute of Biomedical Research of Salamanca or the Center for Biomedical Research in Cardiovascular Diseases Network.

Thanks to this, she has collaborated in the creation of scientific articles on topics such as the clinicopathological characteristics of patients diagnosed with Colorectal Cancer with clinical criteria of Lynch Syndrome or the cardiac sequelae after infection by COVID-19.
