Expert in Pharmacognosy and Phytotherapy, Dr. José Luis Ríos Cañavate has been developing an interesting scientific work on the antimicrobial activity of medicinal plants and products of natural origin.
The subject of specialization in his field of research is the anti-inflammatory activity of natural products, with extensive experience in plant extracts. He has also developed part of his activity in the identification of plant principles (mainly flavonoids, terpenoids and alkaloids).
Experience that has allowed him to be a prestigious Professor in Spain and a referent member in the most renowned societies and scientific groups such as the Spanish Society of Phytotherapy (SEFIT) or the American Society of Pharmacognosy (ASP), among others.
