With more than 15 years of experience as a Tax Advisor, Juan Manuel Ovando is a professional who has focused his career in national and international tax planning in mergers and acquisitions and family business taxation. 

In this way, Juan Manuel Ovando has performed in his career a wide range of responsibilities, such as tax advice to management and business areas, design, control and implementation of tax and transfer pricing policies aligned with the guidelines of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), coordination of tax advisors from various jurisdictions, preparation of appeals in tax litigation in administrative, economic-administrative and contentious-administrative proceedings or conducting Due Diligence processes for both purchase and sale, among many other tasks. 

An outstanding speaker in his field, this Tax Advisor has worked in renowned companies such as the law firm EY Abogados, being Senior Manager of the Corporate Taxation Area and, previously, Manager of the Department Specialized in Business Tax Advisory, Tax Controversy and Transfer Pricing. He has also worked as Tax Advisor in the firm Garrigues.
