Clinical Microbiology is the field of interest to which Dr. Miguel Gobernado Serrano has dedicated his professional career. Throughout his career, he has written several manuals of good practices that are part of the technical recommendations of the Spanish Society of Infectious Diseases and Clinical Microbiology.  

At the same time, he has extensive knowledge about bacteria that cause food poisoning, being a specialist of obligatory consultation in this regard. In recent years, he has investigated and monitored viral outbreaks of animal origin, such as Avian Influenza, to prevent its transmission to humans.
