Experience
Isabel Bonafé Carrasco is a renowned Visual Artist who specializes in exploring the boundaries between the physical and the virtual, creating works that question everyday perception and common sense. Her work combines elements of electromagnetism, optics and light to design pieces that blur the boundaries between the material and digital worlds. Through a narrative deeply connected to the memory, presence and status of photographic media, her creations invite the viewer to reflect on the changing nature of images and their impact on the contemporary experience.
Throughout her career, she has presented her work in prestigious cultural spaces in Spain, the United Kingdom and Italy, such as Somerset House, the Royal Academy of Arts and the CAC Málaga, among others. She has also received important awards that endorse her career, such as the Photography Prize II Young Emerging Artists Competition 2020. At the same time, her constant participation in international exhibitions consolidates her as one of the most promising emerging voices on the current art scene.
