Experience

Alejandro Alegre Peñalva has specialized in the field of Materials Physics throughout his professional background. His research related to these areas has achieved early recognition. In particular, his research on the variation in the electrical conductivity of different metals subjected to stress-strain processes deserved a Best Poster Award.

On the other hand, he has investigated the fabrication of silk fibroin films with different solvents and additives, nanostructuring them to study their properties in structural coloring, self-cleaning and bioelectronics. All this from the Institute of Structure of Matter of CSIC. He has also developed experiences in the handling of characterization instruments such as SEM, AFM, XRD, UV-VIS, Contact Angle, Spin Coating, Tensile Test Equipment, and Non-Destructive Testing.
