Doctor Iván Márquez Rodas is an eminence in the field of Oncological Medicine. He is a specialist versed, both academically and professionally, in the diagnosis and treatment of cancer in its multiple representations and stages. In addition to working for prestigious centers such as the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital, he has studied the pathology of cancerous tumors through various projects.  

The most important was the one that gave name to his thesis Effect of aldosterone on the vasodilator response and expression of the receptor of the peptide related to the calcitonin gene in superior mesenteric and cerebral arteries of normotensive and hypertensive rats. For all this, he has received numerous awards and recognitions, becoming part in 2018 of the Spanish Science Selection, whose members are chosen by the Spanish National Research Council for their impeccable work and contributions to the advancement of their respective subjects.
