With an extensive activity as a member of the Ophthalmological Society of Madrid, Dr. Nieves García Figuera has developed an intense research work in the field of Ophthalmology. 

In this line, her panel communications on choroidal detachment in patients with chronic simple terminal glaucoma, neurosensory retinal detachment associated with preeclampsia or anterior segment optical coherence tomography are especially noteworthy.
