He has been a professor at other national universities (University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Córdoba and Extremadura) and abroad ( University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro in Vila Real, Portugal; Ecole Nationale Veterinaire de Lyon, France; National University of the Litoral, Argentina).
He teaches in different undergraduate and graduate courses, university specialization programs and master's degrees, both national and international, and coordinates different international subjects and courses.
He actively participates as director of masters, doctoral theses and final degree projects in the Degree in Veterinary Medicine.

He is a reviewer of scientific articles in several journals indexed in the Journal Citation Report (JCR).
He is also deputy director of the Department of Animal Medicine and Surgery at the UCM.
Finally, it presents three recognized research six-year terms (CNEAI).
