Dr. José María Serra Renom is an eminent figure in the field of Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery. In his more than 40 years of professional career he has received important awards such as the National Plastic Surgery Award and the Medal of Professional Merit of the city of Barcelona, among many others. 

He was also the first Professor of the Specialty in Spain and, in addition to the numerous research papers published throughout his career, he is the creator of 6 patents. He also has international experience having made stays in centers in Italy, United Kingdom, United States, Canada and Switzerland, which proves his enormous projection in the discipline, placing him at the forefront of this field.
