Specialized in Genetics and Biomedicine, Dr. Maria Sabater Lleal leads several lines of genomic research, among them, she stands out in the study of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm.   

She has developed several publications mainly in the area of Thrombosis and Cardiovascular Diseases, which have been published in high impact journals such as Circulation, Nature Genetics, Blood, Arteriosclerosis Thrombosis and Vascular Biology, or Human Molecular Genetics.
