Experience
Having worked in the public and private sectors for more than two decades, Dr. José Carlos Igeño Cano has a high prestige within the field of Intensive Care Medicine. In this field, he has led and managed teams of specialists within Emergency Units of different hospital facilities, applying innovative Neuromonitoring techniques.
His experiences in the management of critically ill patients with COVID-19 allowed him to write a comprehensive protocol of recommendations for the approach of these patients by Intensive Care professionals. He has also published numerous scientific articles in specialized journals.
