Dr. Joan Fabregat Prous has developed a prestigious career as a Surgeon at the University Hospital of Bellvitge, focused on Hepatobiliopancreatic Surgery. His excellent capacity for team management has led him throughout his career to occupy positions of maximum responsibility in Liver Transplant Units or General and Digestive Surgery Services.  

In addition, he leads the Hepatobiliopancreatic Pathology Research Group at the Bellvitge Biomedical Research Institute. His great work in the medical field has earned him recognition by the Catalan Society of Surgery, who awarded him the "Pere Virgili" Award.
