Dr. María Angustias Muros de Fuentes is a Nuclear Medicine Specialist with many years of experience in this area and a career full of achievements in the health field. She has worked in health centers such as the Hospital Virgen de las Nieves, where she is responsible for the Metabolic Therapy Unit, recognized for using Radiometabolic Therapy against Neuroendocrine Tumors, a pioneering treatment in Spain.  

He has also been President of the Nuclear Endocrinology Group of the Spanish Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (Semnim). His research on Galenic Development, Biodistribution of Radiopharmaceuticals for Isotope Ventriculography (MUGA) studies, the usefulness of Lymphogammagraphy and Sentinel Lymph Node Selective Biopsy (SLNB) in the treatment of Thyroid Cancer should be highlighted.
