Dr. Maria Elena Martinez Rodriguez is a Rehabilitation Physician with extensive experience in the management and protocols for the care of children with disabilities. Throughout her long career, she has combined her work in health care with active academic projects, financed by the Health Research Fund.

At the same time, she is Coordinator of the Osteoporosis Rehabilitation Working Group and Member of the Spanish Society of Geriatric Rehabilitation. She has also edited books on health issues and is co-author of several scientific publications.
