Experience

Since graduating as a Veterinarian, Dr. María Martínez Gassent has focused her career in Small Animal Medicine, working as a General Veterinarian in different hospitals and veterinary centers in the Valencian Community while continuing with her Specialization in Veterinary Ophthalmology. 
 
With postgraduate studies in Ocular Surgery and Pathology and an international stay in one of the most important reference hospitals in New York, she started her own home medical service company under the name Nomavet. Combining this work with teaching practice, until he moved to Barcelona to do an internship in Veterinary Ophthalmology Specialty at AniCura Ars Veterinaria Veterinary Hospital, where he remains, extending a high level service to small animals.  

He is a member of the Association of Spanish Small Animal Veterinarians (AVEPA) and the Working Group of Veterinary Specialists in Ophthalmology SEOVET. He has also participated with oral presentations and posters in different European and American congresses and has collaborated in the coordination and development of several research works.
