Dr. Maria del Pilar Alvites Ahumada has over 12 years of experience as a Medical Surgeon specialized in Psychiatry, with a subspecialty in minor patients by the Health Service of Castilla La Mancha. 

She completed her first year of residency in General Psychiatry Specialty at the North General Hospital Mount Sinai in New York City and from there she focused on suicidal behavior, conducting multiple research projects on the subject.

Her work as a specialist has been highlighted in various specialized care centers such as the University Hospital of Toledo, where she is the Psychiatry Coordinator, and the San Pablo Hospital Complex, among others. She has also devoted herself to university teaching through internships for residents and courses or seminars for professionals, as well as collaborating on numerous master's degrees and postgraduate studies.
