Dr. Alexis Santana González is one of the national references in Veterinary Endovascular Therapy in Spain, and has developed an intense research activity, publishing numerous scientific articles and books on Veterinary Cardiology. In addition, he is a pioneer in the use of minimally invasive vascular therapies in the Canary Islands region, becoming a leading figure in this discipline. 

He is also a founding member of the Veterinary Hospital AniCura Albea and belongs to various clinical associations such as the European Society of Filarosis and Angiostrungylus, becoming also president of the scientific committee of AniCura Iberia.
