Luis José Montes López is a lawyer who, motivated by the fight against corruption and to prevent the many illegal practices in this field, decided to focus his professional career in this area. After practicing law in several law firms, he decided to found the World Compliance Association, a non-profit organization aimed at promoting compliance activities in organizations and developing measures to protect against crimes and infractions.

He has also been CEO of Business Continuity & Compliance, a company dedicated to consulting, auditing and professional training to achieve improvement in organizations and public or private institutions.
