Dr. Francisco José Simó Domenech is a Veterinary Doctor specialized in Ophthalmology, with long stays in France and the United States where he prepared himself to promote the Ophthalmological Service in the Veterinary practice in Spain, through the creation of the Instituto Veterinario Oftalmológico, a pioneer center in the country, dedicated to the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases in pets, located in Barcelona.
  
His mission as Director of this specialized center is to improve the treatments in order to apply more innovative and effective therapeutic solutions to his patients, thanks to his wide experience and by means of the state-of-the-art technology that this institution possesses for complex surgical interventions.

At the same time, he has dedicated himself to the professional training of the different surgical techniques and explorations applied, as a Specialist accredited by AVEPA in Veterinary Ophthalmology and as an active member of the Spanish Society of Veterinary Ophthalmology.
