Instruments such as the endoanal 3D Ultrasonographic Scanner or dynamic endorectal ultrasound have acquired greater prominence due to their capacity to assess the state of the tissues, the musculature of these cavities, among other aspects. Paradoxically, specialists are unable to keep up-to-date with the therapeutic potential of this health discipline. Perform a clinical approach to pelvic floor pathology, constipation, and anal incontinence
Update knowledge about the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted diseases that can affect the rectal area

Review the anatomy and physiology of the anorectal area as applied to clinical practice and problem solving
Gain in-depth knowledge of diagnostic and management algorithms for the most frequent proctological symptoms, such as proctalgia, rectorrhagia, and pruritus
Interpret complementary and radiological tests and identify when they are indicated to complete an accurate diagnosis
Check the etiology, clinical and diagnostic aspects of hemorrhoids from a practical point of view
Address the non-surgical and surgical management of hemorrhoidal pathology, from classic Hemorrhoidectomy to new techniques Learn about the evidence and results from the current literature
Gain in-depth knowledge of the best postoperative treatment and special situations such as pregnancy, anticoagulation, and links to other pathologies
Identify the need for complementary tests prior to anal fissure surgery
Examine the different current medical treatments and define the failure of a treatment and indicate surgery appropriately
