Rafael González García is a professional photographer who began his career as a self-taught photographer. Interested in the proper treatment of the image and the most representative figures in this field, he approached the Escuela de Apertura in Malaga and there he took his first steps. He also attended workshops with great Spanish photographers such as José Manuel Navia. 

Photojournalism is his main line of work and, in particular, he seeks to capture with his snapshots the situation of poverty, precariousness and war conflicts that affect a good part of the world's inhabitants. To this end, he has made numerous trips to countries such as Morocco, Rwanda, Uganda, Palestine, among others. As a result of these journeys he has completed several projects and exhibitions.  As a passionate of Social and Humanistic Sciences, he completed a Master's Degree in Education and Academic Training and a Bachelor's Degree in History at the University of Malaga. From these qualifications, he has worked as a teacher in various secondary schools for the Junta de Andalucía.  

He is the author of the book El camino de Ruanda and actively collaborates with Non-Governmental Organizations such as Mil Colinas.
