Dr. José Ramón Pérez-Carral is a renowned Urology Specialist Expert in HoLEP, a technique by which he has performed more than 2,000 procedures and which places him at the forefront of his field. Thanks to his excellent medical performance, he has been in charge of the Prostate Laser Surgery Program at the University Hospital La Paz, chosen as the best center and Urology Service in Spain for several years.  

His high capacity in this specialty has allowed him to enter into the field of teaching, where he has been both director of medical training courses and teacher in postgraduate programs in Medicine. He has also received awards such as the III Rising Stars in Urology and the XIII Pedro Arregui Award.
