Israel López-Brea studied Law, but his vocation remained in the health sector, so he graduated as a Nurse and began his work within the International Ophthalmological Hospital of Madrid, performing duties as an Orderly and Equipment Maintenance Technician of the Surgical Area, as well as Head of Purchasing and Fungible Supplies along with the Directorate of Professional Services. 

From there, he began his career in continuing education in the area of Ophthalmology, specializing in the Institute of Advanced Ophthalmology in Madrid with a series of programs and research both own and in collaboration, disclosed in congresses and specific media on medicine and optometry.  

In this area he works as: Head of the Surgical Area, Sterilization and Maintenance of Operating Room Equipment; Head of Stock and Purchasing of Surgical Material and Pharmacy; as well as User Technician of Excimer Laser Nidek, Excimer Laser Mel-80, LenSx, Visumax and Catalys. Likewise, he is an instrumentalist in Ophthalmologic Surgery and Handling of Surgical Devices.
