Anesthesiology is the medical field that, for more than 20 years, has captured the interest and research work of Dr. Concepción del Olmo Rodríguez. In this regard, she has published several academic articles and is the author of Anestesia regional y dolor, among other books.  

Through her intense scientific activity, she has deepened in the use of ultrasound and its usefulness for different health procedures against pain. In particular, she has mastered its use for the application of anesthesia in lower limbs. From his innovations, he has promoted the versatility of this equipment and has developed new protocols for its implementation as a means of diagnosis and therapy.
