Dr. Piedad Ussetti Gil has an outstanding career in the area of Pneumology, becoming Emeritus Advisor of the Pneumology Service of the University Hospital Puerta de Hierro Majadahonda, a center where she has had a long career as Head of Service in her field. 

She also highlights her experience directing the Pneumology Research Group at the Instituto de Investigación Sanitaria Puerta de Hierro-Segovia de Arana, where she has made important scientific contributions in this clinical area. He also received the Pneumologist of the Year Award 2021 by the Madrid Society of Pneumology and Thoracic Surgery (Neumomadrid) for his work in the development of the Lung Transplant programs.
