Dr. José María Saura Alfonseda is a Veterinarian specialized in Internal Medicine and Maxillofacial Surgery. He has worked in different clinical services, such as the Saura Dental Clinic and the Clinical Veterinary Hospital of the University Alfonso X El Sabio, where he is currently responsible for the Dentistry service. 

In addition, he has an extensive academic and informative career, having published several manuals on propaedeutics, medical pathology and nutrition in small animals. He has also participated as a speaker at various clinical congresses and is a member of the Spanish Society of Veterinary Surgery.
