With more than three decades of experience in the field of Urology, Dr. Joan Palou Redorta has international prestige and respect. His lines of research focus on bladder and testicular cancer, accumulating some of the largest numbers of oncological surgeries related to this anatomical system.

In Spain, he is considered one of the pioneers of robotic and laparoscopic urological surgery. Among his greatest achievements are the development of a technique for bladder reconstruction and the performance of robotic retroperitoneal lymphadenectomy in testicular tumors. Since his professional link with the Puigvert Foundation Hospital, he has collaborated with several investigations, acting as author of scientific articles of diverse impact in the academic community.
