Mikel Etxebeste Mitxeltorena, Ph.D. Pharmacist, has experience in chemical synthesis, compound characterization, nanoformulation and biological evaluation in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo. Throughout his career, he has worked in various fields such as infectious, oncological, immunological or tropical pathologies. Because of this, he has had the opportunity to be a Researcher in the Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Translational Biology of the CIB-CSIC.

Academically trained in the field of Dermocosmetic Formulation, he has developed different cosmetic and personal hygiene products. In addition, with the intention of offering his knowledge in this field to other professionals, he teaches courses related to this subject.
