Throughout her nearly 20 years of experience in clinical care, the nurse Mónica Sánchez Hernández has enhanced her skills and competencies for the care of critically ill patients, especially those admitted to the post-surgical ICU.  

A professional area that she combines perfectly with teaching, where she is a collaborator in a high level academic institution. In addition, her involvement with her health field is elevating, being a member of the Commission of Dermal Ulcers and Pressure Ulcers and Chronic Wounds. 

• Nurse in the Post-Surgical Critical Care Unit (UCPQ) at the University Hospital "Puerta de Hierro" Majadahonda. 
• Responsible for Patient Safety and referral nurse in Chronic Wound Care. 
• Nurse in Primary Care substitutes in several Area V Centers. 
• Collaborating Nurse in the Center for Vascular Ulcer Cures (CCUV) 
• Clinical teaching collaborator at the UAM 
• Graduated in Nursing at the University School of Nursing Puerta de Hierro, a center attached to the Universidad Autonoma of Madrid.
