Experience

Cristian Sanchez Barros is a Doctor of Medicine Cum Laude from the Complutense University of Madrid, with more than 15 years of experience in this field and specialized in Clinical Neurophysiology with great interest in scientific medical research, a permanent update and dedication to the service of his profession and specialty. Thanks to this, he has been able to work in the best sleep units and hospitals in Spain to reach the position of Head of the Sleep Unit of one of the most important health care centers in Palma de Mallorca in the Balearic Islands.  

He has had international academic experiences in Colombia and in the United States as the rotation at Case Western Reserve University to specialize in EEG and Epilepsy at the University Hospitals Cleveland in Ohio. In addition, in the same line he is an international advisor in a research project on Huntington's disease led by the Caribbean Neurosciences Group of the Simon Bolivar University of Barranquilla, so that at the same time of the welfare activity stands out in research and university teaching as a tutor of graduate programs exclusively.
