Dr. Susana Rivas Vila is an outstanding teacher in the field of Pediatric Surgery, as she has participated in nearly twenty different programs and university programs. In addition, she has been recognized three times with awards for the Best Communication by the Spanish Society of Pediatric Surgery, including an Ordesa Award for Research on Pediatric Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition. 

Her clinical career has been mainly in the field of Pediatric Surgery and Urology, working at the University Hospitals of La Paz, Gregorio Marañón, Madrid Montepríncipe and Madrid Torrelodones. She is also the author and collaborator of a considerable number of articles and scientific publications, dealing precisely with Urology and Surgical Techniques in Pediatrics.
