Dr. Rubén Bermejo-Poza is an established veterinarian with more than a decade of experience in the industry. He is a professional distinguished by his expert knowledge in the promotion of animal welfare, a domain that he has achieved through a multidisciplinary and exhaustive academic and professional career. He is the author of a doctoral thesis entitled "Repercussions of pre-slaughter handling of rainbow trout on welfare and meat quality", as well as postdoctoral studies in this field.
On the other hand, he has a Master's Degree in Animal Production and Health. All this combined with research, both as collaborator and director in several lines of study, especially in the management of fish health in critical points of aquaculture. In addition, he is a professor of several subjects of the Veterinary Degree: Bases of Animal Production I, Animal Breeding and Production I and II and in the Animal Production rotational course of the fifth year.
