Dr. Angel Ortega Gonzalez is a specialist in Pneumology and Sleep Disorders with extensive experience in Spanish hospitals. He has worked as Head of Pneumology and Respiratory Sleep Unit at the Quirónsalud Talavera Day Hospital, at the Marqués de Valdecilla University Hospital and at the Nuestra Señora del Prado General University Hospital, among others.

It is in the latter hospital where he has combined his professional work with teaching, acting as MIR tutor in the Pneumology Department. He also has an extensive research career, with more than 30 publications in scientific journals that make him stand out in his field. 

In this sense, some of his lines of research have been Non Invasive Ventilation during the weaning process in chronically critical patients or the evolution of patients with ALS under pneumological follow-up.
