Rocío Mera Gallego has a degree in Pharmacy with more than 12 years of experience in her sector, specializing in research and teaching, on a par with the care service she provides in Community Pharmacy. 

Her multiple works published by the official bodies of Community Pharmacists have positioned her in an H:1 Index of Dialnet Metrics, making her a reference in this field. Therefore, she has also been incorporated into the practice as a teacher for the training of new professionals, through courses taught in the Official College of Pharmacists of Pontevedra (COFPO) and the Spanish Society of Clinical, Family and Community Pharmacy (SEFAC), organizations of which she is an Active Member.  

She is also a member of the Diabetes and Nutrition working group of SEFAC and collaborates in health campaigns of COFPO, SEFAC and the General Council of Official Pharmacists Associations (CGCOF).
