Isabel Giralt is considered one of the precursors of acupuncture in Spain. Her studies on this subject date back to the 80s of the last century, where little or nothing was known about it in the country. To broaden her training she had to travel to France and the United Kingdom, until she acquired the skills and technical mastery of this specialty of Integrative Medicine.   

Her research and assistance trajectory led her to found her own clinic, ENERGIMED, in Barcelona. At the same time, she has studied Physiotherapy and Orthomolecular Medicine. For several years, she has been working as editor of the International Journal of Acupuncture.
