Experience

Dr. Ana Crespo Hernández has a PhD in Law and has worked on environmental and international issues for more than 2 decades. She is a specialist in Private International Law, and author of several monographs and multiple academic articles, including the publication of her doctoral thesis on "Civil liability arising from transboundary pollution before the state jurisdiction".  

Since 2001 she has been a full professor at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, where she teaches both on-site and blended learning. She has a six-year research period and five five-year teaching periods and has participated as a guest lecturer at several universities in Spain and abroad. She is a regular contributor to scientific congresses on Private International Law, and participates in research groups related to this subject.
