Dr. Carmen Gómez Candela is a distinguished professional in the field of Medicine and Nutrition, both for her academic career, supported by an outstanding thesis, and by more than 25 years of experience in specialized clinical care. Her main fields of activity are Endocrinology and Nutrition, to whose knowledge she has dedicated a good part of her career managing thousands of patients with pathologies associated with metabolic problems and poor nutrition. 

However, the most outstanding aspect of her curriculum is her interest in dissemination and scientific research, for which she has undertaken numerous projects and has been the head researcher of several lines of study such as: the evaluation and nutritional treatment of patients with cancer, nutritional support in eating disorders or weight control. In addition, she has combined clinical and research practice with teaching in university centers of reference, both as an associate professor and as a collaborator in more than 100 courses and seminars.
