Rosa María Borrás Ramírez is a Doctor of Medicine, specialist in Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Treatment, with special interest both in health care activity and in research and teaching. 

She has spent the last years of her career at the University Hospital Dexeus in Barcelona, where she is part of the Department of Anesthesiology, Resuscitation and Pain Treatment, as head of the Preanesthesia Assessment Unit and the Pain Treatment Unit. 

In relation to her work as a researcher, she has collaborated in collective works and articles of her own authorship, published in indexed journals such as the Spanish Journal of Anesthesiology and Resuscitation. There, she has published works on the effects of intubation in surgical patients, which have been a reference for other professionals in this field.
