Focused on both Fetal Medicine and research work, Doctor Nerea Maiz has developed her professional career in both directions. In fact, she is the Research Coordinator at the Obstetrics Department of the Vall d'Hebron University Hospital, being also part of the Fetal Medicine Unit of this center. 

She supports a multitude of projects in the research area, especially those on Tissue Engineering and Telemedicine in Neurosonography. She is also author and co-author of more than half a hundred scientific articles.
