María Isabel Valadés Malagón is a member of the Nursing Service of the Acute Geriatric Unit of the Gregorio Marañón General University Hospital in Madrid. Within this care area, she has become an expert in the application of Intrahospital Care, Hygiene Techniques and adequate feeding of patients. 

Her academic training has been continuous, developing several courses and educational programs. She has also published several scientific articles about functional interventions of older adults and the latest sources of deterioration.
